For seventeen years, Becky worked as a development professional in higher education at the University of Missouri-St. Louis, Washington University in St. Louis, and Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. She has experience in planning and executing capital campaigns and other fundraising initiatives.

Becky has helped nonprofit organizations achieve their goals for over thirty years. Beginning her career as an elementary school teacher working with students with learning disabilities, Becky’s volunteer involvement with the Saint Louis Symphony Volunteer Association and the Junior League of Saint Louis introduced her to the world of fundraising.

Transitioning from a volunteer fundraiser to a career in professional development, Becky brings an understanding of both sectors of the nonprofit community. Her professional fundraising career includes work with healthcare organizations like the March of Dimes and SHARE Breast Cancer and Education Support Center, as well as social service agencies like Kids in the Middle.

Becky works in a professional and volunteer capacity with Boards of Directors and staff of nonprofit organizations on the development of fundraising plans for annual fund and major gift work. She has experience with fundraising proposals to individuals, corporations, and foundations for support and in the planning and execution of special events.

Becky received a B.A. Degree from Oklahoma City University and a Master’s Degree in Education from the University of Missouri-St. Louis. Currently, Becky serves on the Board of Directors of the Bach Society of St. Louis, as well as the Consulting Board of the Haven of Grace in St. Louis.
